Bottle Cap Magnets

Today I am going to show you how to create these cute bottlecap magnets. They would be a quick and easy gift to give to a friend—or even just to make for yourself!
Begin by stamping the bottlecap centers on Very Vanilla Cardstock using the Collage Curios and Memorable Moments Stamp Sets, then punch out the stamped images using the 1” Circle Punch.

Next, pour some Crystal Effects into a little container and brush some of the adhesive on the bottom of the cap.
Put the stamped image inside the bottlecap. Let it dry for a few minutes before the next step.
Now mix one drop of Crumb Cake ink into the Crystal Effects, then brush it on top of your stamped image.
Adding the Crumb Cake ink into the Crystal Effects gives the bottlecap a vintage, aged look.

Now you can either hot glue a magnet to the back of the bottlecap or adhere it to a clothespin—as I did above. To do that, simply hot glue the bottlecap to the clothespin, then hot glue the magnet to the back of the clothespin.
That’s it—antiqued, numbered bottle caps! They are now ready to make your (or your friend’s) fridge, magnet board, or chalkboard extra-cute!
