Wow! It has been a LONG time since I posted!

Wow! I have been so busy lately! I apologize for the lack of posts. Just to give you a heads up of what I have been doing behind the scenes. I am the President of our school PTO and every year we have an annual breakfast with Santa. I usually work on this event for 4 months leading up to the event. We have also had my mother in law and sister in law staying with us for the Holidays. I love when they come and stay.  Our nephew and his son have also moved to Lynchburg and we are helping them get settled. I have some health issues that have been diagnosed recently so that has also been keeping me pretty busy. OK so now that you know what I have been doing, you want to see some cards right? My Stamp Club is Friday night and I promise I will post those cards soon.  But here is the Christmas Wreath we made at a recent class.

Here is one that I made for Thanksgiving. I love making these wreaths. They are so easy. I plan on making one for Valentines and Easter!

Everyone is so busy with the Holidays that it was hard to find a date. Speaking of, I have not gone Christmas Shopping yet! Yikes!! I definitley need to get started with our Holiday Festivities. Baking, Christmas Cards (yes, I have not made my own Christmas Cards yet -I have been too busy with Christmas Card Classes),Trimming the Tree and Christmas Shopping. Oh my, I better get on the ball. Have a GREAt week!

Valentines Card

I cased this card from Sue Scheets. I think this is one of my all time favorite cards that I have ever made. isn't the lamb adorable? I used the Heart to Heart punch for his feet and the scallop circle punch for the hair on the lambs head. I sponged the body with pink pirouette. That's what I like about caseing (Demonstrators Copy and Share Everything). You get inspiration from a card and you make it your own. I didn't have the colors or punches Sue used but I improvised with what I have and I think it turned out cute.

Santa Notebook

I cased this from Stamping Granny. I saw these on her blog and I just knew I had to make these. I wish I would have made these in advance for Christmas. These were so easy to make. I just took a spiral mini notebook and covered it with the Santa face. The mustache was made by cutting the 1 inch Circle Punch in 1/2. I made the eyes with the 1 inch Circle Punch with Baja Breeze and used the Owl Punch to cut the black part of Santa's eyes. Isn't he cute?

Simply Adorned

Christmas is officially over but I wanted to share the charm that I have been wearing during the Christmas season. I made one of these for my sister in law for Christmas with a variety of inserts that I made for her. These are so easy to make and you can add an image personally to fit your style. I need to change out my insert to reflect something for winter. Maybe a snowflake since we have been getting so much snow recently. That would be pretty with baja breeze and dazzling diamonds. I get so many compliments on my charm and it is a great conversation starter. Contact me to get yours.

Holidays

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. We have been spending time with family and watching movies all day. It has been snowing on and off all day. We have a couple of inches on the ground. It's the first time we have had a white Christmas in awhile. I hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday. I wanted to share what my youngest son Noah made for Santa. Of course, I put this on the plate that I posted about a couple of days ago. He is very proud of his creation and I told him I would share it.

One of our friends sent us a Christmas Card. I had not sent him one because I did not have his address. Now that I have it I needed to send a card quickly. I really like the way this card came together. I think I would have liked it better if the ribbon was at the bottom of the green card stock. What do you think?

Design A House

I really like the Design a House kit in the Holiday Mini. I had so much fun putting this together. I bought an extra one to use for Halloween. The possibilities are endless. You can make it as simple or add as many things you would like to make it your own creation. I made the wreaths and the ornaments for the trees with the Owl Punch. You can make so many things with the Owl Punch. I think it is my favorite punch that Stampin Up offers. I also gave my window panes a little pizazz. I took plastic wrap and applied shimmer paint with a piece of sponge. Then I taped them to the back of the Windows so that it would look like snow. Below are a list of supplies that I used.
