Proud Mamma

Ok ladies I have to share a proud mamma moment. My son left yesterday for Parris Island. He joined the Marines and he has been training at our local recruiting station for over a year. We are very proud of him but it is also bittersweet to have no contact with him. I made 100 Patriotic cards and plan to send him 1 every day. I sent 1 yesterday and 1 today. They are all patriotic and they have inspiration from mom on the inside. Below are pictures of my family as we say goodbye until Sept 18th.

We started our Project Life book. This is so much fun and the EASIEST way to Scrapbook. I am addicted to Project Life. This is one of the pages from our January layout. I was diagnosed with Medullary Thyroid Cancer in January so this page shows the beginning of my journey. Paper Pumpkin June 2014

We are throwing a going away party for my son this evening. He joined the Marines and leaves on Sunday. This months Paper Pumpkin made the prefect centerpieces for the table. If you would like to join our monthly Paper Pumpkin go to this link and choose me Jan Mata as your Demonstrator. Each month you get a box filled with a surprise project. This month had all of the straws, pin wheels, glue dots and brads to make these pin wheels. It also included a small stamp pad, 3 photopolymer stamps and the pre-cut pin wheels. It also included basic gray bakers twine, 24 cute clips. I had enough in this box to make 24 pin wheels. It also included 24 cello bags. Each month is a surprise.

Simply Scrappin

We will be creating a double page 12x12 scrapbook layout each month. I will have the pages designed, cut and prepped for you. All you have to do is assemble your pages and add your photos. We will do a different layout each month. Before you know it you will have an album filled with memories!!

First Annual Scrapbook Marathon

You are invited to participate in Stamp with Friend's First Ever Scrapbooking Marathon.  Come when you can and leave when you must!

July 12th  From 11:00 -3:00pm. approx, you will be participating in 5 double page lay puts, a header page and a single page. That is 12 pages for your scrapbook. Each one is designed to teach you something (or many somethings!) new and trendy right now in the world of scrapbooking. You’ll be using the latest tools, learning new techniques, and getting a lot of pages done, all at the same time!.
Price is just $45 per person or $80 for two people for the day, and includes lunch, bottled water is included, all pages and a fabulous goodie bag. There will be a free paper swap table for you to take or leave papers you no longer have need for. The deadline to sign up is July 5th.  Payment in advance is required to hold your spot. Annual Birthday Bash
